The Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety (KINS) is a nuclear safety regulatory expert organization established to protect the public and the environment from harmful effects of radiation which may arise from the use of nuclear power and radiation. The Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety, established in 1990, has been working as a safety watchman with the highest technical expertise to ensure the nuclear and radiation safety. In order to resolve nuclear safety concerns, the Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety will continue to devote our utmost efforts to realize “Safety Priority KINS”. The Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety will continue to move forward through the prevention of safety accidents, transparent disclosure and communication of regulatory processes and development of technical standards in preparation for future regulatory needs.
