    Introduction

    Since acquiring the first GLP certification given by the Korean Ministry of Health & Welfare in 1988, KIT’s GLP system has been certified by the Korean Ministry of the Environment (1998) and the Korean Ministry of Agriculture & Forestry (2002). KIT’ s GLP system has also received an excellent evaluation from the Japanese government and the OECD. In 1998, KIT became the first organization in Asia to acquire accreditation from AAALAC International, and KIT’s toxicity tests are conducted under the strictest international standards of GLP. KIT is proud of its state-of-the-art facilities (with a total area of 270,000 square feet) which provide an outstanding GLP testing environment that enables KIT to attain the highest quality and most reliable study results. KIT systems are supervised by a high industry standard centralized control system to maintain the most reliable GLP experimental environment.
